Maha Saptami in India

About Maha Saptami

Maha Saptami is a significant day during the annual Durga Puja festival, celebrated with great fervor by Hindus across India. On this day, the ritual of Prana Pratishtha is performed to invoke the presence of Goddess Durga into the idol, marking the beginning of the main ceremonial worship. Devotees offer prayers and floral tributes to commemorate the victory of good over evil.
