About Sukkot Eve
Sukkot Eve marks the beginning of the week-long Jewish festival of Sukkot, also known as the Feast of Tabernacles. Families and communities traditionally build or prepare the 'sukkah', a temporary dwelling that commemorates the shelters used by Israelites during their exodus from Egypt.
