Women's Equality Day

Women's Equality Day is a commemorative day in the United States that marks the 1920 adoption of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, which granted women the right to vote. While not a federal public holiday, it serves to recognize the achievements of the women's suffrage movement and ongoing efforts toward gender equality. Communities and organizations often hold events to celebrate progress and address remaining challenges for women.
