About Duwadashi (Dashain)

Duwadashi is a significant day within the ten-day Dashain festival, which is the longest and most auspicious Hindu celebration in Nepal. It represents the victory of good over evil, symbolizing the goddess Durga's triumph over the demon Mahishasura. During this period, families gather for traditional blessings and religious rituals to mark the end of the festival cycle.
