About Sukkot (Day 5)

Sukkot is a major Jewish festival also known as the Feast of Tabernacles, which commemorates the years the Israelites spent in the desert after the exodus from Egypt. During this time, families observe the tradition of dwelling in temporary structures called sukkahs to remember the fragility of life. It is a joyful period of celebration involving prayer and the gathering of the four species.
