Buddha's First Sermon

Buddha's First Sermon, known as Chokor Duchen, celebrates the moment when Lord Buddha delivered his first teaching on the Four Noble Truths to his five companions. It is a significant religious observance in Bhutan, marked by prayers, circumambulation of monasteries, and the reading of sacred scriptures. Buddhists across the country participate in these rituals to reflect on the core tenets of the Dharma.
